Nobody likes a sad song!
True! it is true, nobody likes a sad song. but they r nice. why is that then? when u listen to Eric Clapton's River of Tears, or Autumn Leaves and so many more, they all appeal to our taste given the right time and occasion. And Nat King Cole sings, the Smile song,
Smile though your heart is aching
Smile even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
you'll get by If you smile through your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll see the sun come shining through for you
it's a memorable, life time song. some things never age, like some songs, some scenes, (a kissing scene), some movies(especially Audry Hepburn movies), or some taste. Even perfumes. and Emotions.
and people hardly do smile when they are sad, they forget about ability, function or muscle excercise. i sometimes wonder, why do we have to be sad, why do we like to be sad, why do we enjoy the sad world. is it the shadow that protects us? or we r uncomfortable with too much sun!? happy people just picturing a sad scene, happy movies with a sad scene, even they didnt exclude it in Dumb n Dumber, the guy was left sad, however dumb he was! is it the melancholy of sadness, or is it the soothing sensation of a sad tune that clings to our mind, and washes over people more than a million jokes, or a thousand laughters, (or vice versa)!
My guess is, people can't handle too much sun in their lives, they need to get behind a shade, or hide in the shadows, to be less in sun! i myself dont know! if anyone knows lemme know too, but i like sad songs, they are so mellow, and Yellow, and tear jerking, an excuse to keep eyes clean! Sad songs, blues, song song blue! isn't it cool?! noway, u r not gonna call it nonesense, just open ur eyes, push those grey cells a bit more, and there u go, and of course a bit of an IQ a tad above the average would be great, and bon appetit! comme ils disent en France.
ok, this is where i gotta get off, i let you be, with your ideas, opinions, thoughts, emotions, and feelings, wrestle hard, life's a challenge, but not a struggle, and don't give in! stick to it, hold on to it, and you'll be the one!
I tell younger ones, find someone you can spend the rest of your life with, and then hold on to him(preferably they r she's) tight! now, loosen theat tight grip, i wanna go get myself a shot of Expresso! Bon Courage!

Guess there are times when we all need to share a little pain
And ironing out the rough spots
Is the hardest part when memories remain
And it's times like these when we all need to hear the radio
`Cause from the lips of some old singer
We can share the troubles we already know
Turn them on, turn them on
Turn on those sad songs
When all hope is gone
Why don't you tune in and turn them on
They reach into your room
Just feel their gentle touch
When all hope is gone
Sad songs say so much
If someone else is suffering enough to write it down
When every single word makes sense
Then it's easier to have those songs around
The kick inside is in the line that finally gets to you
and it feels so good to hurt so bad
And suffer just enough to sing the blues
Sad songs, they say
Sad songs, they say
Sad songs, they say
Sad songs, they say so much
i guesss yr guess is right.those who prefer to be sad cant handle too much sun always critisize it and try to put the blame on this or that and prefer to hide in the shadow while they could enjoy those rays of happiness brought by sun and shined on them.but what about those who always cherished the sun?and could hold on tight to what they found most beautiful and memorable?some things in life r irreplacable like love and moments u lived in it.u r gonna stick to it forever nomatter howhard u try to forget and thats when sad songs come in to scene/either u go for what u loved (if we had loved before we can have it back once more)or u just sing(if i could turn back the time)and remain sad
